Last i checked, he's still not done with A Dance of Dragons. So, it's worrying.

Stefanie It's ironic -- all that time many years ago, my friend and I would sit around speculating on "what would happen if Robert Jordan died before finishing the series?"

And then he does it -- right before the end of the last book.

He wrote an epic. Wheel of Time, in spite of its many flaws, was ambitious in its vision.darkorpheushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02565452271408221461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15914227.post-21954269578374425492007-09-18T01:32:00.000+08:002007-09-18T01:32:00.000+08:00Sad news. I sort of always liked knowing there was this guy writing these big sprawling books even if I never planned on reading them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15914227.post-51301721397479516022007-09-17T23:32:00.000+08:002007-09-17T23:32:00.000+08:00I was very sad to hear this news despite the fact ...I was very sad to hear this news despite the fact that I've never read a Robert Jordan book. He's had such a huge impact on the fantasy genre and this is going to upset so many fans..my thoughts are with them all and with his family.

This has also had me thinking about Martin's series! I've only read the first book in Ice & Fire and am about to read the second, but that one has to see it's end! I can't imagine an epic series not having it's final book published.chrisa511https://www.blogger.com/profile/05793512698366676453noreply@blogger.com
