I like it that they are foregrounding the Joker as a big part of the marketing campaign. It's not just Batman - it's the whole mythos of Gotham and their costumed denizen.
But I really want the teaser poster of Batman against the city. It would go so well with my blue wall.
i think you hit the nail on the head about why those posters are so cool! because with batman (as with a few other comic book heroes), we love his bad guys too!

I love love LOVE the new Joker (although Nicholson was pretty awesome!). This this could be the coolest Batman yet!
