Orpheus, thanks for visiting my blog. I just did a review of "To Kill a Mockingbird" and it is definitely reread worthy. I enjoyed reading your blog and am blown away by how many books you have read this year. Proust?? I'm visiting again to go over that list when I have more time.
Out of the 50 books I have read thus far only 5 are re-reads...which is actually a much smaller number than usual for me. I left an answer to your question on my blog.
Framed: I'm glad you liked "To Kill A Mockingbird". It's special to me because it was one of the first book that made me cry. As for Proust, when I first picked it up I was intimidated. But I have no idea I was going to be so sucked in by it.
Carl: 5 re-reads is still way more than me. And I just dropped by for your reply on Robert E. Howard. The Amazon link you gave me also includes that movie-bio on Howard that I forgot. I think I'm going to try the Conan novels first. See how I like them before I move on to the Solomon Kane.
I used to read a lot of fantasy and science fiction. But the past few years I seem to read less of them. Something to consider for the 2007 reading plan.
