Here's the new jacket treatment for the awful Penguin red Classics. Okay, I would not buy this version, but something about the handsome young man with the dangling cigarette makes me want this as a poster in my room.

why awful? i think penguin is really shrewd in packaging their novels in a very trendy way. i don't think classics should be bounded by their covers.
the question is: how's the translation?? is it good? crappy? so far their War and Peace has one of the most accessible translations to date.
