Good list of comics! Love BPRD and Universal Machine was fantastic.

Used to read Birds of Prey regularly but have backed off, purely for financial reasons. Always enjoyed it.

Hi Carl - I picked up BoP initially because I was tracking the Huntress. (Yes, I like the unrestrained Italian lady in PURPLE!) But since then I've become a convert to BoP. I love the art - those are really gorgeous women - and I love the banter and humour Gail Simone injects into her writing.

Actually, I enjoyed that very brief "Birds of Prey" tv series with Ashley Scott a few years back back too. :)

Yes, I was enjoying that series too and was sorry that they weren't able to give it a chance. Ashley Scott..very cute. Enjoyed her in Into the Blue.

I'm reading my first comic novel thing, or whatever it's called. Maus by Spiegelman -- and I'm enough of a geek that the author sounds familiar. My roommate lent it to me! He persuaded me to join his uni's anime club, so I imagine that I'll find my way to mangas eventually.

Imani Hope you like Maus - but do you like anime? It can be fun.

Huuge! Ok, not huge, but yes, I've enjoyed anime since I was a kid and caught Vampire Hunter D on the Sci fi channel (in the days when it was worth watching).

Imani Ah, then this will be fun. Good luck with it. Make some new friends - or not. :)
