QUOTE | Real Courage

“I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It’s when you know you’re licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.”

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee is one of my favourite.studied it in school and still keep the copy (with all pencils and highlighted phrase). vaguely remember bit and pieces of the show but i remember the actor who starred as Atticus.

courage.be brave.faith.despite what comes forward or to face upon. i always remind myself to remember it becos if without courage, life is just an empty shell. as long as i know it is right. i will be fine. = )quietletters

Wonderful quote from an amazing, life-changing book. That is indeed true courage.
