Deadline for the Non Fiction Five Challenge

Where did the time go? The deadline for the Non-Fiction Five Challenge is approaching -- end of September, and I'm only one book away from completion. In the next few days I'll have to try to finish up Sun Shuyun's Ten Thousand Miles Without a Cloud or Aung San Suu Kyi's Freedom from Fear -- both books I have neglected from the Books In Progress pile. Too bad about Rebecca Solnit. Maybe later. Next year.

Over-commitment can be a bitch.

I unfortunately gave up on this challenge a long time ago. I find it horrible the number of challenges I join and don't complete! I was tossing around the idea of hosting my own challenge but I think I might be rather ashamed if I couldn't finish it...

Stephanie Hee. I share your pain. So many challenges, so little time. But then I'm shameless and I cheat!

Heather But don't let not finishing the challenges stop you. We're still waiting for that Victorian Lit Challenge.

I have that Beckett quote on my header: "No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better." Just try. That's the point.

Oh yes, this challenge. I gave up as I still have 2 to go. Sigh. At least I read a couple of books I might not have otherwise gotten to!

Melanie Still some time to go. Want to make a last ditch effort?

You can do it! :)
But yea, over-commitment can be a bitch. Between challenges and book groups I'm going crazy - but well it's a good kind of crazy. ha.

Time is passing much too fast, isn't it? Good luck with finishing the challenge!

Iliana Thanks! I'm making good time on Ten Thousand Miles without a Cloud, so I'm optimistic. :)

Nymeth Hey, good to see you have internet connection again.
