Oh. Just a quick note: I went for yoga class again on Tuesday evening: Hatha class with my hard-core Teacher M. My body isn't as strong as I would like it to be, and my legs were trembling a little after all the Warrior variations.
But it was fine. No dull pain at the navel - at least, I was careful not to overstretch. Side-twists are just fine too. Just have to watch myself, not expect too much from my body at this point, and just do it.
Tomorrow is another day to practice. That's all that is to the practice, isn't it - you just come back, one day at a time.

I'm glad to hear it was fine! Hopefully tomorrow will go even better. One day at a time is always a good philosophy.
Nymeth - thanks! Except maybe I make it sound like the mantra for an alcoholic! ;p
Woo! Your strength will be back before you know it.
Stefanie - thanks! having sore hamstrings right now though.
But I'll live. :)
glad to hear that!!!
& yes, it really does come back 'fast'
Ovidia - I hope so. Last night we went through 54 Sun Salutations (different variations) for Power class.
The only way I could get through it was to "cheat" and modify the chaturangas.
Congrats on getting back to yoga! I've really fallen off my practice due to moving and traveling - which is probably when I should focus more on something like that to keep stress at a minimum. Oh well. Hopefully I'll find a great place to do yoga at in my new hometown.
Iliana - you're finally able to breathe again after moving and unpacking 22 cartons of books? Haha.
I'm sure you can find a good place to practice yoga. Just be patient. But a good alternative would be a home practice with DVDs.
