Back to Work

Well, the break is over. I am due to show up for work on the 21st of April - today.

The problem is, for the past 2 weeks I have gotten used to sleeping in the day and staying up the whole night. It will take some time switching back to a more normal sleeping cycle.

Right now the time is 6:34 am. I have about half and hour before I need to hit the showers to prepare to get to work.

Back to the grind.

Hope the first day back is a good one for you! Sheesh...I know that's gotta be rough after your break!

That tends to happen to me whenever I have a break. Once, after a long summer some years ago, I was so used to being awake at night and sleeping during the day that it took me a good miserable month to correct my sleeping pattern. These days I am very very careful to avoid it happening again. I'm too fond of the night time for my own good.

I hope your first day back wasn't too bad (or no worse than it needed to be)

Hey Chris, hey Nymeth - I'm on my second day of work. ;p

The first day passed rather well - many people remarked I seemed refreshed after the break. So, note to self: rest more. It makes me a funnier person at work. With lots more energy.

That said, I was chasing down anyone who was willing to look at the photos of my cyst. My doctor also took a snap shot of my liver and some other parts - so it was fun, doing show-and-tell with my usually hidden bits.

Hee hee.

Glad your return to work went well. About those pictures, will you be posting them? Or maybe you can use them for you christmas cards this year? :)

Stefanie Alas, no one around me owns a scanner (trust me, I've been asking!) -- so, no post until I can get them in some digtal format.

Damn. Just about everyone at work has seen the pictures.
