Knut Plays Dead

It's really too sweet not to share this picture of Knut just lying there like a bear-rug.

IT'S SO SWEET!

Yes, I know when he grows up he will be able to take my face off with a single bite. And he's turning green and not as cute these days. But here in this picture he's a fuzzy little bear-rug. Awwwwww....

Hee,hee... He's already pretty big. I got to see him last September when we were in Germany... Still very cute though.

Ummmm ... is that your bear? And what's up with "turning green"?

Iliana You got to see Knut? Awww...if he taller than you now? We have a polar bear at the local zoo, but he turned yellow - his fur was picking up the dirt or something.

Chris & Chris Knut - the happy little polar bear adopted by the Berlin Zoo. He was hand-reared by the keepers at the Berlin zoo after being rejected by his mother and became something of a celebrity. D'uh.

That's a really old picture. Apparently at one point Knut was getting some algae growth on his fur and his fur was turning his ugly shade of green.

Knut is bigger now, and an ugly non-green colour:

Ahhhhh! Glad to hear you're not raising polar bears yourself, D-O ;) And he was much cuter as a cub...though polar bears are just awesome by nature!

Chris The whiteness of their fur makes them prettier, doesn't it? But I don't think Knut will be auditioning for the sequel to "The Golden Compass" any time soon. ;p
